* Exported from MasterCook * Creamed Peas And New Potatoes Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Potatoes Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/2 Lb. tiny new potatoes (about 15) 2 C. shelled peas or 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas 1/4 C. sliced green onion 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour 1/4 Tsp. salt 1 Dash white pepper 1 C. milk Scrub potatoes. Remove a narrow strip of peel around center of each. Cook potatoes until tender; drain. Meanwhile, cook fresh peas until tender; drain. Cook onion in butter or margarine until tender. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk and cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes more. Combine vegetables and onion mixture.
