MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Spiced Glazed Parsnips Categories: Vegetables Yield: 4 Servings 6 md Parsnips 2 tb Butter 1/4 c Light brown sugar 1/4 ts Salt 1/4 ts Ground cloves 3 tb Orange juice Cut parsnips in half lengthwise. Wash well; pare or scrape if necessary. Place in saucepan. Add 4 tb water and cook 25 to 30 minutes whole or 10 to 15 minutes if sliced or cubed. Let cool slightly and remove skins. Melt butter in frying pan. Blend in brown sugar, salt, cloves, and orange juice. Heat and stir until well blended. Add parsnips, turning over in sauce until coated and heated through.
