* Exported from MasterCook * Stuffed Cabbage Recipe By : Ruth Dolasinski Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Main Dishes Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef 1 can tomato soup 1 can tomatoes -- (16 oz) 1 can sauerkraut -- (16 oz) 1/2 cup rice 1 head cabbage 1 egg 1 small onion -- chopped Mix together ground beef, egg, onion, rice and 1/2 can of soup. Add salt and pepper. Separate cabbage leaves in boiling water. Roll a small amount of beef mixture in cabbage. In large Dutch oven, put 1/2 of can each of saurkraut and tomatoes, line with cabbage rolls. Top with remaining kraut, tomatoes and soup. Cover with water.
