Turn to speed 4 and slice cabbage. Steam cabbage over boiling water just until tender. Melt butter in double broiler over boiling water. Stir in flour, pepper, curry powder, onion, and salt. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly, until smooth. Continue cooking until thickened. Do not boil. Place cabbage in a serving dish and add sauce. Toss well to coat cabbage. Serve immediately.
