                          Tropical Turkey Salad

   5      c             Fresh spinach -- torn
   3      c             Lettuce -- torn
   2      c             Turkey -- cooked, cubed
   2      sl            Red onion -- separated into rings
     1/2  c             Green pepper -- chopped
     1/2  c             Mandarin oranges -- sliced
     1/2  c             Pineapple chunks
     1/3  c             Vegetable oil
     1/4  c             Raspberry syrup
   2      tb            Red wine vinegar
   1 1/2  ts            Honey
     1/2  ts            Celery seed
     1/2  c             Sliced almonds -- toasted
     1/4  c             Flaked coconut -- toasted

Line a large salad bowl with spinach and lettuce Combine the next
6 ingredients; spoon into bowl. In a jar with tight-fitting lid,
combine oil, syrup, vinegar, honey, and celery seed; shake well. Pour
over the salad. Top with almonds and coconut. Serve immediately.
