* Exported from MasterCook II * Marinated Tomatoes Tureul Recipe By : Linda Burgett Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Salads And Dressings Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3 very large tomatoes 1/3 cup olive oil 1/4 cup red wine vinegar 1/4 cup onion -- finely chopped 2 tablespoons capers -- drained 2 tablespoons parsley -- fresh, minced 2 cloves garlic -- minced 1 tablespoon salt 1 tablespoon dried basil 1/4 tablespoon ground pepper Cut tomatoes into 1/2" thick slices, peeling is opitional. Place tomatoes in a shallow dish, and after combining all the other ingredients, stir it all together and let marinade for 3 hours before serving.
