                           Artichoke Rice Salad

   6      oz            Chicken-flavored vermicelli &
                        - rice mix
  14      oz            Marinated artichoke hearts
                        - (2 jars)
     1/3  c             Mayonnaise
     1/4  ts            Curry powder
  12                    Green olives -- sliced
     1/2                Green pepper -- sliced
   2                    Green onions -- chopped

Cook rice mix according to the directions on the package, omitting
the butter. Cool. Drain artichokes, reserving the liquid. Combine the
liquid, mayonnaise, and curry powder. Blend well. Combine all
ingredients, mixing thoroughly, and chill.
