* Exported from MasterCook * Garden Salad Recipe By : Key Gourmet CD Rom Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Salads Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 c Sugar 1/2 c Vinegar 1 ts Salt 1 ts Pepper 1/2 c Vegetable oil 1 Can French style green beans 12 oz Can LeSueur shoe peg corn 8 1/2 oz Can Lesueur early peas 2 oz Jar diced pimentos 1 c Celery 1 c Bell pepper 2 bn Green onions Bring sugar, vinegar, salt, pepper, and vegetable oil to a rolling boil; then put aside and let cool to room temperature (sometimes I set the mixture in the freezer while I prepare the remainder of the ingredients.) Drain beans, corn, peas, and pimentos in a colander. Cut up celery, peppers, and onion. Combine all the above and refrigerate. This should have time to get very cold before serving.
