MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.02 Title: Mushroom Wild Rice Categories: Vegetables Yield: 4 Servings 4 oz Pkg wild rice 1 tb Beef-flavored bouillon - granules 1/4 c Butter; melted 2 tb Minced onion 1/8 ts Garlic powder 2 c Water 1/2 lb Fresh mushrooms; sliced 1 tb Lemon juice 1 tb Fresh parsley; minced 1/2 c Pecans; coarsely chopped Wash rice in three changes of hot water, drain. Combine rice, 2 cups water, and bouillon granules in a medium saucepan; bring to boil. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer 30 to 45 minutes or until rice is tender and water is absorbed. Saute mushrooms in butter and lemon juice until tender. Stir mushrooms in butter and lemon juice until tender. Stir mushrooms, onion, parsley, garlic powder, and pecans into rice.
