MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Scalloped Potatoes With Ham Categories: Pork, Potatoes, Dairy, Vegetables, Herbs Yield: 4 servings 6 tb Butter; divided 1/4 c A-P flour 1 ts Dried parsley flakes 1 ts Salt 1/2 ts Dried thyme 1/4 ts Pepper 3 c Milk 6 c Potatoes; - peeled, thin sliced 1 1/2 c Fully cooked ham; chopped 1 sm Onion; grated Set oven @ 375 F/190 C. In a large saucepan, melt 4 tb butter over medium heat. Stir in flour, parsley, salt, thyme, and pepper until smooth. Gradually add milk; bring to a boil. Cook and stir 2 minutes. In a large bowl, combine potatoes, ham and onion; place half the mixture in a greased 2-1/2 qt baking dish. Top with half the sauce; repeat layers. Cover and bake until potatoes are almost tender, 65 to 75 minutes. Dot with remaining 2 tb butter. Bake, uncovered, until potatoes are tender, 15 to 20 minutes.
