* Exported from MasterCook * PEPPERMINT-STICK ICE CREAM Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Desserts Ice Cream Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 Egg yolks beaten 1/2 c Sugar 1 c Milk 1 c Whipping cream 1/2 c Peppermint candy crushed In a small saucepan, combine beaten egg yolks, sugar and milk. Cook and stir over low heat until mixture is slightly thickened and coats a metal spoon. Stir in whipping cream and 1/4 cup crushed candy. Cool to room temperature. Pour into ice cream canister.
