                           Chocolate Ice Cream

   1      qt            Whole milk
   1                    Egg -- beaten
   2                    Egg yolks -- beaten
   2      c             Sugar
     1/3  c             Unsweetened cocoa
   2      tb            All-purpose flour
   2      c             Evaporated milk
   2      tb            Vanilla extract

In a heavy sauce pan, combine first 6 ingredients. Cook until
thickened. Add evaporated milk; bring to a boil. Remove from heat and
cool. Add vanilla. Pour into the cylinder of an ice cream freezer;
add enough milk to fill cylinder 3/4th full. Freeze according to
manufacturer's directions.

Yield: 2-1/2 Quarts
