* Exported from MasterCook II * Peach Ice Cream Supreme Recipe By : Jo Merrill Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Frozen Ice Cream 1 Peaches Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3 large peaches -- ripe 2 cups sugar 1 teaspoon lemon juice -- fresh 2 14 oz cans evaporated milk 1 cup milk 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk 6 eggs -- slightly beaten 1 teaspoon salt Peel peaches. Cut 2 peaches into chunks and mix with 1/4 cup sugar. Puree the other peach and the lemon juice in a blender. Heat the evaporated milk and milk together. Stir eggs and remaining sugar together in the top of a double boiler. Slowly add hot milk mixture, whisking constantly. Add sweetened condensed milk and peach puree. Cook, whisking constantly, until mixture is thick and coats the back of a spoon. Remove from heat and cool. Stir in vanilla and peach chunks.
