* Exported from MasterCook * FRESH APPLE CREPES Recipe By : Serving Size : 12 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Desserts Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- -----CHEESE TOPPING----- 3 oz Cream cheese 1/2 c Shredded cheddar cheese 1/2 c Dairy sour cream -----APPLE FILLING----- 3/4 c Water 3/4 c Sugar 5 c Cooking apples * 4 medium apples thickly sliced, pared and cored. Prepare cheese topping: In a mixing bowl allow cheeses to come to room temp; beat until fairly smooth. Add sour cream. To prepare apple filling: In a 2-qt. saucepan bring water and sugar to boil, add apples and simmer until tender. Cover to keep warm. To assemble: Place 3-5 apple slices on each crepe; roll up. Place in single layer, seam side down, in chafing dish; pour over left-over apple syrup. Heat. Serve two crepes per serving. Top each with cheese topping.
