---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Semifreddo Di Chocolata Categories: Cheesecakes, Chocolate Yield: 12 servings 5 oz Semisweet chocolate Chopped into small pieces 1 tb Butter 1/4 c Sugar 2 lb Ricotta cheese; drained 1 ts Almond extract 1 tb Orange flavored liqueur Melt 4 ounce chocolate and butter in a medium bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water. Remove bowl from the saucepan and cool to room temperature. Process 3/4 cup sugar, 2 pounds of drained ricotta cheese, 1 teaspoon almond extract and 1 tablespoon orange flavored liqueur until smooth. Transfer to a 2 quart serving bowl. Pour cooked chocoate mixture in thin stream over the cheese. Swirl with a small knife. Cover and chill at least 6 hours. Spoon into individual dishes and serve. -----
