* Exported from MasterCook II * Peanut Brittle Recipe By : Cory Lewkowicz lewkowicz@binah.cc.brandeis.edu Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Candy Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 200 g Sugar 110 ml Corn syrup 150 g Roasted peanuts 1 tsp Butter 1 tsp Baking soda In 1-1/3 liter casserole dish, stir together sugar and syrup. Microwave at high, for 4 minutes. Stir in peanuts. Microwave at high, 3 to 5 minutes. Add butter and vanilla (our friend didn't say exactly how much, you will need to experiment with this) -- blend well. Microwave at high, for 1 to 2 minutes. Add baking soda (sprinkle to cover top), and gently stir until light and foamy. Pour mixture onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Cool for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
