* Exported from MasterCook * Chocolate Philly Fudge Recipe By : Charmaine Corbasson Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Candy Fudge Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 4 c Powdered sugar -- sifted 8 oz Cream cheese -- softened 4 oz Unsweetened chocolate -- melted 1 ts Vanilla 1 ds Salt 1/2 c Nuts -- chopped Gradually add sugar to cream cheese, mixing well after each addition. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Spread into greased 8" square pan. Chill serveral hours; cut into squares. Granish with additional nuts, if desired. Yield: 1 3/4 Pounds Variations: Omit nuts and vanilla; add few drops of peppermint extract and 1/4 cup crushed peppermint candy. Omit nuts and add 1 cup shredded coconut.
