* Exported from MasterCook * Apricot Walnut Bread Recipe By : Taste of Home, Feb.'95/Roberta Banghart Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Apricots Breads - Quick Breads For Dessert Nuts Taste Of Home Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 4 Egg whites 2/3 cup Water 1/2 cup Orange juice 1/4 cup Oil 1 teaspoon Vanilla 3/4 cup Uncooked oat bran 1/2 cup Dried apricots -- chopped 1 1/4 cups Flour 1/2 cup Brown sugar -- packed 1 teaspoon Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda 1/4 cup Walnuts -- chopped In a bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Stir in oat bran and apricots. Combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder and soda. Stir into apricot mixture juist until moistened. Fold in nuts. Pour into a greased 8x4x2" loaf pan.
