About MealMaster
================

MealMaster is a free recipe manager for DOS.

It includes a "convert" utility to convert other recipe export
formats.  Note that mealmaster can only import recipes in DOS text
format.  You may need to use the "unix2dos" utility if the recipe
is in Unix text format.

buster20n.zip also converts recipes to MealMaster format.

How to move recipes between databases

It's as easy as "Bob's Your Uncle".

Make a new sub-directory with the desired name in your "RECIPES"
directory.

Open Meal master and press "M" for the Maintenance/Set Up menu.

Then "F" for filepath. You'll get a requester that says ENTER-Select
or ESC-Manual Entry.

Press the ESCAPE key and type in the name of the sub-directory you
just created. MM will make all the indexes and other housekeeping
things that are needed.

I just created a sub-dir called "Try_It" to do that very thing and
to confirm that my memory was accurate.

We have many databases.  To create a new one:
from main menu press M for maintenance menu.
Then press F for filepath
That will give you a listing of the databases you have, arrow down to
select the one you want to go to and then hit enter--OR--
hit Esc to create a new database.  It will say that it does not exist,
do you want to create (Y/N?) -- hit Y.

Once you have a new database created, you will probably want to move
recipes to it from the one you had before.  I think the best way to do
that is to do a search on something, automark, then export from the old
database, then switch to the new one and import.  Go back to the old one
and delete marked recipes.  These operations can be found in the
utilities section.
