I spent years on and off working on my thermodynamics notes. For a long time I
couldn't look at, pick up, or much less open the folder they're in. Not because
I stopped liking thermodynamics - not at all. A lot of the time, working on the
notes was my way of getting away from unhappy things, so the folder got laden
down with all that - it got heavy enough that I couldn't lift it. That seems
silly now. I'm going to write up my notes.
