       we have too many immovable cars on our lawn
       the fourth one is too modern[1] for DIY repair work[2]
       and it's now deemed "fixed" and ready to pick up 
       
       the last six days we have been "stranded"
       only real difference being working from home for my partner
       cooking from deeper digs in the cupboards
       made split pea soup yesterday
       
       i have a day off tomorrow
       my plan is to take the 8.03 bus to the city
       walk to the repair shop to fetch the car
       and then spend the day offline
       
       novelty is leaving home without a pair of headphones
       
          [1]: it deliberately wont start and warns us about a
               faulty gearbox. the repair shop told us it's due to
               the car key losing its pairing codes.
               it's a regular car key with symmetrical cuts
       
       
          [2]: our favorite car, a 1998 suzuki swift (/geo metro)  
               is waiting for new breaks shoes and springs that'll
               hopefully arrive in the mailbox on friday.
