       @fesshole I had paperwork in with HR for an in range progression (union speak for raise) and someone from HR called me and asked why I deserved it.  I said you tell me why I don't.  That pretty much ended the conversation and a week later I had my IRP.

       @fesshole when everyone was illegally bittorrenting movies at work, we rate limited that protocol to 64kbps. It would take them all semester to download a single movie.Problem solved.

       @webhat  I have a deafness starting at about 3Khz and drops at that point that I can't hear a 100 dB tone  wearing headphones.  I am amazed when tell people that and then some keybox alarm goes off and they say "how can you stand there?That is so annoying. " Yup.  I can't hear it.  That is why I am still standing here.
