@q3k "Belmar" leads to this: https://www.techpowerup.com/ssd-specs/memblaze-pblaze5-c916-6-4-tb.d1590> The SSD controller is the PM8607 NVMe2016 Belmar from Microchip Flashtech MicrosemiOf course there are no reference manuals for a PM8607, because somebody could get the idea to actually use this chip.

Today's mental breakdown of the almost 2-year-old was presented to us by the simple sentence: "You are too tired, we wanted to go to sleep and we can empty the dishwasher tomorrow." - "Wwaaaeeehhhhhh! DISHWASHER!!1!!"You can't make this up...

@buherator Well, it's obviously too original and interesting and not enough licensing money they can milk.

Self-hosting nerd tales: Wanted to set up a Vaulwarden backend for me, the wife and sooner or later the kids. I have some infrastructure that ties together my private self-hosted services in the cellar and a public Hetzner box with less sensitive and public stuff using wireguard tunnels.I know, the Bitwarden client caches, works offline etc. but having access to your password store when not at home is still a good idea. Now I got the nice idea to just use Traefik and forward all requests for Vaultwarden from the public box through that tunnel to the instance running in my cellar using its TCP router. Works great and even TLS is transparently passed through so that my internal-services cert can stay on the box in the cellar! And now my password vault is exposed to the public internet for everybody to access! 💀 I can't sleep at night doing that, so now I am setting up a head/tailscale VPN and set it up on all my and the wife's devices to access internal sensitive services like Immich, Seafile and Vaultwarden.I have as much self-hosted IT at this point as a medium sized company 😬
