Map Type:	Tough Extra-Large Single Player, 1 human knight only,
		3 allied computer necromancers only
Language:	English
Description:	Who will win, the royalty or the undead? The Golden Valley
is the place that can determine.....
Special Win:	Blue vs. alliance of green, red, and yellow
Special Loss:	Run out of time
Special Other:	8 Months

In this map, you are the crusader Leopold. He is old and retired,
but now he may be the only reason an undead plague comes to an end. He
can't just automatically go after the undead. He must find gold somewhere,
and that somewhere is the Golden Valley, located in the.... figure it out!
The best procedure to win is as follows, and follow it quickly because you
only have six months, or the undead sends out vampire scouts and bites your
neck! Also, the Golden Valley isn't just gold, as you WILL find out if you
go there.

1. DWELLINGS Leopold should cross the river and pick up as many peasants
and archers as he can to form an army. At the same time, the other knight
near the castle, Jewel, should collect resources.

2. RIVER Leopold takes the river. You need to take the river, period.
Don't take the west tributary until you have an army, and get off at
    the east side.

3. MAZE The maze is a long and winding one. You may want to look at the
editor first, or you may have some backtracking to do! I cut it to a
    minimum, however.

4. MURKY SWAMP The Murky Swamp is really bland, for good reason! Legend
has it that it's haunted! No resources exist here! Just a few weak
creatures, two artifacts, including the Ultimate Artifact, and a lot
    of hydras.

5. GOLDEN VALLEY This is the place where you pick up the only gold that
exists in this land. It doesn't mean you'll win, but you'll have the
best chance IF you have it and IF there's LOTS and LOTS of time. But
hurry! You still lose lots of gold from the Devil each day.

6. BUILD ARMIES After collecting gold, build strong, sufficient armies for
the task! One warning is one or more heroes may have a legion of
skeletons, so I strongly suggest getting ALL the crusaders for one army
you can get! (HINT: If you can, give Leopold's crusader to your main
    army.)

7. ATTACK!!! All that's left is to attack, but if you lose, you may run
    out of time!

A LITTLE ADVICE FROM THE MAPMAKER

1) Read rumors! I've got nearly 30 of 'em!
2) Go to the Golden Valley first. You'll thank me because while play-testing, when I attacked, I got clobbered!
3) Remember you can't build a marketplace until you approach the Golden Valley.
4) Answer the Southern Sphinx's riddle!
5) It may help to have a look at the editor before venturing into the maze.
6) Don't recruit skeletons! They cost TWO things!
7) Once you've made collected the gold you think you will need, attack any enemy and surrender if you can. Otherwise, retreat.

I made the time limit 8 months because I encourage you to do a small
amount of exploring. I also equipped your castle with everything except for
a mage guild and (yes, you know it) the all-important marketplace. I finished
the map in six months.

I do not suggest going after the undead before going into the Golden
Valley. This is because you may have a strong army but the undead are even
stronger.

I apologize for not being able to add more humorous jungle events on
the map. I had planned on adding more, but it was then that the dang editor
said I had reached 50 events on the map itself.

I must say that you might wish the Murky Swamp had resources, but the
place is supposed to be boring because of the stories of the haunted and
uninhabitable place.

If you enjoy this map, wait until my next map comes out! I already
have it in mind. If you want to know it, scroll down and if you don't, then
wait! It's coming VERY soon.

My next map will be called "Confrontation."
