Just a brief note on the map:

This has been placed in the Multi player section, and
although it can be played by only one player, the more
human players, the more enjoyable it will be. My kids
are currently playing it with a couple of their friends
(Knight and Sorceress vs Warlock and Necromancer) and
are having fun with it.

A Few Strategy Notes:

1. Each player has a unique territory, which joins up
with a territory common to the three allies. The way
to enemy territory lies through a guarded portal

2. Since there are limited numbers of resources, mines,
monster bases and neutral towns, cooperation and sharing
with your allies is essential (assuming your ally/ies
is/are a human player(s).)

3. There are three towns in each common area. The one
nearest the portal is the most important in terms of
launching an attack on your enemies and defending your
territory from them. Your home town is not relevant after
the first part of the game. (unless of course, you are
losing!)

4. Since both sides are equally balanced, the quest for
the ultimate artifact becomes important if not essential.
Besides, there are lots of neat events, clues and
treasures on the way!

5. As in any game, don't go looking for the ultimate
artifact with insufficient troops. In this game, be
warned that you may have nowhere to run.

The characters are taken from various fantasy fiction
realms. To give credit without giving away the story
the authors are (in alphabetical order):
Piers Anthony, David Eddings, Robert Jordan, Dennis
McKiernan, J.R.R. Tolkien, and various
(Conan Properties, Inc)
Check them out at your local library or bookstore!

Enjoy!
