# Dusk deployment utilities

The unit at [xcomp/deploy.fs] contains a few words helping with deploying Dusk
to a drive. This is notably useful for crafting a "boot payload", that is, the
string that the kernel interprets at boot time.

## API

### Stringlists [lib/str]

fsUnits
tarUnits
fatUnits
These stringlists represent a flattened dependency list of the few units
that are typically crucial to have in a boot string. You'll want to use these
  in conjuction with "spitunits".

### Words

spitunit ( dstio name -- )
Given a destination stream [io/stream] "dstio", spit the contents of unit
name "name" (example "lib/str") to that IO, followed by the string " endunit "
which emulates what happens when we load such file through "f<<".

spitunits ( dstio stringlist -- )
Call "spitunit" for each element of the string list.

spitboot ( dstio archname -- )
Spits the xcomp/lo, HAL and xcomp/boot part of the boot payload to dstio.
  Example:

  mystream "i386" spitboot

copyall1440 ( dstid dstfs -- )
Copy as much of bootfs as possible to destination in a way that fits a 1.44M
floppy. This means everything except docs.
