I have been wanting to do this for a long time, and I am glad I am here. (:

I was an aspiring mathematician; I'm in limbo right now. I am particularly interested in the pure and abstract sides of math: algebraic topology, 
category theory etc. I hope to someday  write about these things and why they are exciting. (a la John Baez)

I'd like to learn C, and eventually some assembly/ principles of Operating Systems. I think I'll start with the C for now.
I am also vaguely interested in molecular biology and neuroscience (check out my ASCII DNA!)
