This gopherhole has pretty much the same purpose as any other gopherhole 
in the Gopher. It is containing (going to contain) any useful / 
interesting / funny information I find or possibly create. There isn't 
much here for now, anyway.

<rant>
Many people would like to see gopher regain its former glory and once 
again become *the* Internet protocol. I believe that this would be the 
worst thing that could possible happen. Just take the look at WWW: it has 
become a disgusting, polluted and infected breeding ground for disease 
which is the infinite human stupidity. Websites actually worth reading are 
becoming ever more rare, the Web has grown into some monstrous advertising 
zone, rapidly approaching the inevitable, the end, when it will collapse 
and take down all of its supporters with it. So, my advice is, stay away 
from it, let it live this miserable existence until it ceases to exist, 
and maybe you'll be one of the few who will be able to laugh then.
