You can ask in the same way you can say.

If you name an object first you will ask that object. If the object chooses to respond you will get and answer.

or say what is the time? to bob

or if your really lazy just type what should we do now? as anything that is not a command is said/asked.

If you include a question mark it gets converted into an ask

You can say things to other players or objects by including 'to {object} at the end 
eg: say what a lovely coat to wolis
or say where is the key? to fopp

Remember, use shout to communicate with people in other locations.

Or simply add the word 'loudly' on the end of any command you perform
eg: create a large pink elephant loudly or think secret thoughts loudly

All commands can be prefixed or suffixed with 'please' to do them nicely: please say what a pretty cat to the waiter loudly 

Please note, anything type in the 'Say:' input box, in the bottom right of your screen, will be said, you cant perform commands from there.
