Configuration Editor v2.2 Registration $ 10.00 UTIL OCT90 CONED CONFIG AUTOEXEC MANAGE BOOT CONED EDIT FILES: coned22.sdn New to SDN CONfiguration EDitor allows a user to boot their PC/MS-DOS Computer with any AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS that they have predefined, or interrupt the boot process and create a new one. Up to 200 different configurations can be stored and utilized. ConEd is simple to install, simple to use and requires no additional command sets to learn. Part of ConEds' charm is the program uses YOUR editor of choice. This way, there are no new commands to use. If you use Qedit, Brief, E-tool (theres' a dinasour for ya') or even Edlin as your editor of choice, ConEd will let you utilize it for editing or viewing your configuraitons. If you have a requirement for more than one configuration, than perhaps ConEd is for you. Sometimes people like to run multiple TSRs, some of which will conflict with each other, and ConEd could be your solution. By having different configurations already defined, you choose the configuration you wish to boot with, OR select another configuration to use after you have booted up your machine. ConEd will simply re-boot your machine with the new configuration already installed - its that easy. ConEd features a command line configuration selection. From the DOS prompt you can change your current AUTOEXEC.BAT & CONFIG.SYS and reboot your PC with just a few keystrokes. Also featured is a time-out option, which if invoked, boots up your current configuration after a specified time. This is handy for those timed events, or if you operate a BBS and the system has a power outage. Hardware Requirements : IBM PC, PC-compatible or MS-DOS computer 128k RAM, 2 floppy drives. Other Requirements : DOS 2.1 or higher. _____________________________________________________________ (SDA format (c)Copyright 1990 The SDN Project - SDNet/Works!) _____________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________
