(uucp) they also provide limited feeds. they rely totally on the contributions of users to cover phone and maintainance/upgrade. the level of growth and use of the sdf is but the slightest indicator of the need for public access to internet facilities. it is time for this access. they are working on obtaining the facilities and equiptment to provide complete public access to internet, including telnet and ftp, for a reasonable monthly fee. watch this group for details. You can contact the (usually) friendly sysadms there, when the HD feels a little better, under the following id's: iczer@sdf.LoneStar.ORG (Ted Uhlemann, sysadm, founder ) srl@sdf.LoneStar.ORG (Steve Linebarger, sysadm, biz person) sp@sdf.LoneStar.ORG (Steven Parker, sysadm, ol' killer hacker) use 7-e-1 and 214-436-3281. and dont forget to donate. bILL middle@cse.uta.edu wjm@sdf.lonestar.org
