U2 Album released in Australia
Posted 30th October 2000
The new album "All That You Can't Leave Behind" is out at record stores. I managed to get the pre-order limited edition release of the album which has an extra track. The music on the album is a definite departure from the techno effects employed in their last three albums. Not surprisingly , U2's return back to their musical roots have made this album very impressive. For a track listing, visit the discography page.

Posted 9th October 2000
U2 fans will be thrilled to know that the new single "Beautiful Day" is now out at most record stores. The video clip of the single had already been been available for viewing at U2.com. Prior to the release, the single already had strong support in Europe and has also been played during the live broadcast of the Sydney 2000 Olympics in Sydney. Two versions are available. One appears with a light blue sleeve with the tracks "Beautiful Day", "Discotheque", "If you wear that velvet dress" and "Last night on Earth" (the last three are live from Mexico). The other version includes "Beautiful Day", "Summer Rain", "Always" and a Quicktime movie of "Last Night On Earth" (Live from Mexico).

New album release date - 31st October 2000
Posted 9th October 2000
The release date of the new album will be 30th of October. Already some stores in Australia, including Sanity, are accepting preorders for what will be the most highly anticipated U2 album to date. Titled "All that you can't leave behind" departs from the heavily edited tracks of Discotheque, Achtung Baby and Zooropa for the more raw and natural sound found in U2's more classic albums of The Unforgettable Fire and The Joshua Tree.
