.SH NAME
\f4Uutry\f1 \- try to contact remote system with debugging on
.SH SYNOPSIS
\f4/usr/lib/uucp/Uutry\f1 [\f2options\fP] \f2system_name\fP
.SH DESCRIPTION
\f4Uutry\fP
is a shell that is used to invoke
\f4uucico\fP
to call a remote site.
Debugging is initially turned on and is set to the default value of 5.
The debugging output is put in file \f4/tmp/\f2system_name\f1.
Here are the options:
.TP 10
\f4\-c\f2type\^\f1
The first field in the \f4Devices\f1 file is the "Type" field. The \f4\-c\f1
option forces \f4uucico\fP to only use entries in the "Type" field that match the
user specified \f2type\f1.
The specified \f2type\f1 is usually the name of a local area network.
.TP
\f4\-r\^\f1
This option overrides the retry time that is set in file
\f4/var/uucp/.status/\f2system_name\f1.
.TP
\f4\-x\f2debug_level\^\f1
\f2debug_level\f1 is a number from 0 to 9. Higher numbers give more detailed
debugging information.
