       OCC 2026 DAY 01

The Old Computer Challenge is here! I've been thinking of what to
do that would be fun and different from the past challenges. I
haven't really been doing anything new or different lately with my
personal computing so this gives me an opportunity to do something
       different.

Recently I have been cleaning out some of the stuff in the lab and
reorganizing things. It is hard to work on projects and find parts
with so much clutter, so it got to the point where I had to do
something about it. Since the lab is in a better place, I have the
appropriate work area where I can do the OCC without the clutter
       overhead.

In my inventory, I have many unused old PC cases (just in case,
lawlz.) One of the things I've been wanting to do is repurpose the
cases for something not necessarily computer related. It has been
inspiring to observe how PC cases have evolved from the boring
beige boxen of the past to blinky, flashy cases where you can see
the insides and everything. So I was thinking of what I could do
with an old PC case for the OCC 2026...maybe a diorama or shadow
box or something. Use it for something else.

OK, so now I have a starting point and will just go from there and
see how this manifests. Since I will probably not be using an
actual "Old Computer," I have decided to log my progress via the
AlphaSmart dana.wireless from 2003, which is what I am typing this
       out on now.

I am excited to be able to participate again this year and look
forward to see what y'allz do this year! :D
