It has been awhile since I used my cybah rig so I
decided to use it today and install system updates.
It still seems to work fine and does what it needs
to do, but for some reason, I want to mess with it
again instead of just use it as is. I should just
leave it alone since it still does what it should.

Going back to the last entry about gamblin', I
ended up using a portion of the winnings on a nice
resonator guitar. There was one on clearance at
the local music shop that was marked down 56%, so I
nabbed it. Gotta have something to remind me of
the win before it all goes to unmemorable household
       expenses.

The guitar is a Gretsch G9221 Bobtail guitar.[1]
It is beautiful and fun to play. The body is
completely steel and it has an aluminium spider
cone resonator with a pickup inside. The neck is
mahogany and rounded in the back and the action is
quite comfortable for me. I'm not so experienced
with various guitars or setups, but I do know that
I like how this one sounds and feels. I can truly
       play heavy metal now! ;)

It has been a joy exploring the instrument and making
it sing. It makes so many interesting fun sounds and
so loud! Even more so when I plug it into an
amplifier! When I play it, sometimes it reminds
me of the gas can for the lawn mower. Now I gotta
learn some tunes that are more traditional for this
fine instrument. It is so nice to play quality
       instruments!

Since I have been back from C-Town, I have been in
a constant struggle to keep from getting swept up
in how things were before I left, like getting
anxious of the day, having to feel like I have to
do things or be productive, feeling like I am
running, running, running out of time. Man, I hate
that! When I went away, I was removed from this
daily pattern so I was able to breathe and just do
what was in front of me and that was good enough.

Now I feel like I'm back in the rat race and my
resistance to it is just wearing me out. Even
though I am not working for the time being, part
of me feels like I need to jump back in and go. I
think I need to re-strategize and find some
balance. Something to appease both my human doing
       and my human being.
