       Cat had posted a link to the Beyond The Minds Eye video to mastodon
       and it reminded me of renting The Mind's Eye and Beyond The Mind's 
       eye VHS cassette from Blockbuster Video back in the day (thanks, cat!)
         
       The Mind's Eye series[1] are collections of computer generated short 
       films set to music.  I liked watching these back then...well, 
       basically zoning out on them.  They probably seem very primative by 
       today's standards but back then, these were state of the art.  This 
       stuff also reminds me of some of the computer generated music videos 
       that The Residents had done.  I guess that since I grew up watching
       music videos, this kind of stuff appeals to me.
       
       I saw that the series is on archive.org so I downloaded them.  I 
       think they will be good visuals for the garage lab even if I turn 
       off the audio.  Plus my monitors are 4:3, so they should look fine 
       @ full screen.  Maybe I should change the resolution to 640x480 ;)
