       Uh, belated holiday greetings to you all out there in gopherspace!
       Yeah, I have not phosted in the phlog since the last decade...but
       that is ok and I am writing now.  So just to make it easy for me to
       write and for you to consume, I will write a list:
       
        * On call is done, happy days are here again!
        * On call still sucks.
        * When do I get my holiday break?
        * Getting server alerts @ 4AM on New Year's Day sux0z big 
          time.
        * Sick people should stay home so they don't get others sick 
          (especially those on call)
        * I think Airborne effervescent tablets work.
        * Consuming mass quantities of coffee should be paired with 
          equal amounts of water.
        * My writing sucks when I have no mental bandwidth.
        * My reading sucks when I have no mental bandwidth.
        * My computing sucks when I have no mental bandwidth.
        * I suck at Minecraft when I have no mental bandwidth.
        * Kindly leave me alone when I have no mental bandwidth.  I 
          will be better after.
        * I think I am exhausted.
        * The kids are calling me boomer.  "OK, boomer!"  I don't   
          deserve that kind of respect.
        * Hitting, punching, and knocking down dead trees is very 
          theraputic and helps break down anger and other extreme 
          emotions...and helps break down the dead tree for compost.  
          Just be sure to wear gloves next time.
        * Going to a shrine after this to meditate myself into a 
          puddle.
        * Slow down, you're trying too hard.
