Any terminal client works well, but for the best results I would
recommend the following:
Windows:
(HTM) Syncterm
Linux:
(HTM) Syncterm
Android: ConnectBot
iOS: MuffinTerm
BBC Micro: Commstar / Commstar II / Termulator
Mode 7 Web Client:
(HTM) JS-BeeBS
ANSI Web Client:
(HTM) Telnet Guide

Point your terminal client to beebs.ddns.net port 6502 and hit
connect. In Syncterm settings choose either 80x25 for ANSI or BBC Mode
7 for Mode 7 and ensure connection type is RAW not Telnet.

In your comms package of choice select Terminal (not viewdata/prestel)
set your parity to 8n1 and your baud to a max of 9600 (or if you're a
lucky devil using Linemaster then 19200 baud), auto line feeds off.
To view Mode 7 graphics in your terminal software (Commstar,
Termulator etc.) you need to turn filtering OFF.

1. Configure your Baud Rate e.g. *Configure Baud 7 <return> will set
your baud to 9600.
2. Configure your Data parameter *Configure Data 5 <return> which
gives 8n1.
3. Switch to Terminal mode *Terminal <return>.
4. At the terminal prompt (=) type MODE 7 <return> BBC <return> which
will allow full BBC VDU support.
5. Press <escape> the connect in your usual way (e.g.
ATDTbeebs.ddns.net:6502)...this all depends on what is connected
to the other end of your beebs serial cable.
For day to day the built in terminal rom will work fine, however you
will be unable to download (as far as I know *terminal does not
support X-Modem CRC file transfers)...for that reason I would
recommend a different comms package.

1. Select the file you would like to download on BeeBS.
2. When prompted select X-Modem 128.
3. You should see "Starting to Send File..."
4. Press <escape> to return to the Commstar menu and select D to
download.
If the file is larger than your RAM buffer you may need to change from
using Buffer to Disc instead.
