Well, living in 3rd world I had few arguments about discrimination
(particularly addressing homophobia, drug usage and physical
disability). That was some years ago already.
Discrimination is simple idea. When you try to put imaginary theory
behind it and then another, because non of them yet make any sense, I'd
really ask, what I'm defending?
I have feeling someone kept idea of social studies overuse in mind
bringing americas society to state it is in. As side observer I watch
this lunacy without idea where it leads (or better - why) and watch it
constantly fails.
Talking about meme war, aside of straightly sexist/racist and other
"traditional" -ist material, circulating in "fun pictures" public
channels, there's so much relatively new material suggesting whole idea
of "discrimination" as insignificant, bringing those to absurdity level
with plausible success thanks to achievements of certain bleeding edge
social studies.
I suspect "hate speech" was discovered as cause of former listed -ist
discrimination problems but that's where it hits my personal threshold
pairing with blasphemy laws, banning sole idea of criticism.
