       I am heartened that both you Alberti and Lawson found the little 
       non-www resource index page interesting, I know I did. 
       
       It feels good to connect with fellow terminal geeks, thanks. 
       
       However, I think the author of the article is not aware that www 
       and https are different things. HTTPS is strictly, as we all 
       know here, a protcol; www is more of an abstraction for the application 
       layer of browsers that serve up pure corporate drivel. 
       
       I was most interested in the article's use of finger as an informal 
       information protocol, however, the article's author didn't quite grasp the 
       depth of some stranger uses of finger beyond just static .plan files.
