       Alone atop his mountain top
       Alone up in a tower
       An old man plucked,
       And plucked, and plucked.
       He plucked his eye
       Like it was a flower.
       
       The leaves had withered
       Had finally fell
       The dried up branches
       Were as itchy as hell
       But it only bothered him
       For about one hour.
       
       Up and up
       The vines were crawling
       Up through the cracks
       The snakes were climbing
       Green as green
       Like nature's farming.
