       Hello,
       
       This is my first post on this board so I could abuse some etiquette. Please 
       be understanding. 
       
       I'm exploring small-net topic, especially years 1991-1995 when Gopher had 
       its golden era. I'm looking for people who were on Gopher then, and could 
       recall some memories from that time. There are many people who are using 
       Gopher now, but in the most cases they are "newcomers from 2000's" and 
       can't say anything about that times. 
       
       I'd like to obtain how the net were used then. What was obvious then, and 
       what could be something different now - beside usage of the same terms. 
       What was the most important adresses of Gopher golden era. Are they were 
       mainly govs and academic stuff, mainly in USA with some exceptions like 
       gopher-hole of MTV? 
       
       There are some Gopher archives, but the most of gopher-holes were shutdown 
       before they were created. What could be the most painfull loss of that 
       time?
