       I'm looking specifically for a client in C for two reasons:
       
       
         -I'm currently learning C, specifically sockets programming, and I'd like 
          to have a real, useful program that I can study and modify for practice.
          Part of that is also avoiding glitz; multiprotocol support, complicated 
          preference settings, etc
       
       
         -My system is somewhat primitive, and as such only a handful of compilers 
          and interpreters are available. I also have limited disk space and spare
          CPU cycles.
       
       
       Given Bombadillo is written in Go and is relatively featureful, it's not 
       really the best choice for me.
