       Not at all.
       
       The Old Testament is difficult to approach without the risk of distorting its meaning.
       But everyone can, and in my opinion should, immerse himself in the messages of Genesis and the New Testament.
       These parables enlighten us about the choices we need to make to direct our lives. 
       
       Eve was free to choose to eat the forbidden fruit. She died.
       
       We are free to choose our idols, and the Bible announces the price.
