          Hold fast to the things that appear best to you
       
       I like the idea of not accepting the ridicule or criticism from
       those who are either uninterested in either your moral development
       or find it threatening because they do not wish to be reminded of
       their own unwillingness to grow as a person.
       
       Nevertheless, test your views and do not stubbornly cling to them
       when they are challenged, but always be willing to weigh them and,
       if found wanting, be willing to embrace change for truth's sake.
