Pitch Dark is a frontend for exploring and playing Infocom text
adventures on an 8-bit Apple II. Some notable features:

       * UI for browsing all games and setting global options
       * Multiple versions of each game
       * In-game protections removed (manual lookups, code wheels, &c.)
       * Interactive hints based on the original Invisiclues
       * Double hi-res box art (super hi-res on IIgs!)
       * All games run directly from ProDOS (no swapping floppies!)

       ▒▒▒ SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒

Pitch Dark requires a minimum of 128K RAM and an enhanced Apple
//e, Apple //c, or Apple IIgs.

Additionally, you will need a mass storage device that can mount a
32MB ProDOS hard drive image. This is supported by all major
emulators; if you are lucky enough to have a real working Apple ][,
you can mount it with a CFFA3000, Floppy Emu, MicroDrive, BOOTI, or
       similar adapter.
