Edwin S. Blanke Light, Arizona July 22, 1916 Dear Brother Theodore:- I received both of your letter, but the last two weeks I have been hauling fence posts from here to my homestead. Two Sander boys were there digging holes & putting up wire. We fenced 320 more acres. I had another 320 joining, but another fellow got it now, that is I think so, but we both have lawyers and I don't know how it may come out. I quit my job two weeks ago. Eva was afraid to have me stay in the mine and I didn't like that part either, but I liked the work fine. I think Olga is a little off to stay a nun. I am forgetting what I am writing. __ is cutting up and making me play with him, and the old man and two big boys are tooting the horn to go. We are going to Pearce this morning. I am on the school board. It's a family affair. The old man is clerk & the other son-in-law & I are the on too. Just takes three. About a brand. T-L or T/L or something like that is good. Just T is too easy to add to or change. Register it in Phoenix. Will write more in a short time. Going now. Your brother Edwin
