Today I thought about being grateful about how life is now. It happened when I saw a video made by a young Japanese saleswoman/clerk that filmed herself cooking lunch and eating it by herself while describing only in subtitles how difficult life is in Tokyo with such little salary. It sounds more sad and depressing than it was. Quiet the opposite: it was charming with some sadness to it. The cruelest aspect to me however was not the little salary, the toxic and meaningless job description or the lonelieness but rather her acceptance of the latter. This is probably where I thought about how grateful it is to have friendly people around.
