This is, as noted above, a Gemini page and the first in my capsule.

The intentional limitations of Gemtext are the first issue to be considered. What? No color? No italics or boldface? How, then, shall we express ourselves? Perhaps we just need to be... more intentional. >Single angle quotes<, for example, may prove useful.
##Dinguses and other typographic flourishes
So much can be done with the stolid glyphs of an old typesetter's box.
