	When the covid hit,
	they had to give us telecommuting
	since they had no other choice.

	When the energy crisis hit, 
	they had to regulate electricity.

	It is infuriating that these things
	were seen to be politically impossible before,
	when it was "only" about lessening
	the impact of climate change.

	If I had to guess, 
	we will see many more changes
	that would have been a good idea long ago.

	Do we need an acutely unsafe world
	in order to preserve it?
